£150k fund offers match funding of up to £10k for creative projects
Creative Scotland, the national agency dedicated to supporting the arts, screen, and creative industries in Scotland, has partnered once again with Crowdfunder UK to launch the fifth year of the Creative Scotland Crowdmatch Fund. This long-running initiative is set to distribute £150,000 in match funding to help Scottish artists, creators, and cultural innovators bring their creative projects to life.

For the fifth consecutive year, Creative Scotland will match the funds raised by selected crowdfunding campaigns, offering a maximum of £10,000 in match funding per project. This initiative has proven to be a game-changer for a wide range of creative projects, from theatre and visual arts to film, music, and community-driven cultural initiatives.
How It Works
- Eligibility: Creators based in Scotland running a campaign on Crowdfunder can apply for match funding. The fund is open to a diverse range of creative projects, from individual artistic endeavours to larger cultural initiatives.
- Match Funding: Successful campaigns that reach their fundraising target will receive match funding from Creative Scotland, up to a maximum of £10,000. This means that creators can effectively double their financial support to bring their projects to life.
- Total Fund: A total of £150,000 will be distributed throughout the year, helping as many eligible campaigns as possible reach their fundraising goals.
- Application Process: Creators are invited to apply for match funding and check their eligibility by visiting the Creative Scotland Crowdmatch Fund page.
