“This year's recipients are a testament to the flourishing hip-hop community in Scotland, showcasing a vibrant and diverse array of talent across various art forms.

“Small bursary programmes like this are vital, providing emerging artists with the resources and mentoring they need to hone their skills, experiment with new ideas, and create new work. This is essential for nurturing a dynamic, high-quality hip-hop scene that can offer sustainable careers for artists throughout Scotland.”

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all of the recipients whose hard work, passion, and dedication to the craft of hip-hop is an excellent reflection of the sector as a whole. The Scottish Hip Hop Bursary team remains committed to providing financial support and resources to foster the growth of Scotland’s hip-hop culture.

We would also like to thank all those who applied and shared their incredible work with us. This fund was incredibly competitive, and while we could not fund every application, we encourage applicants to continue developing their craft and consider applying for future opportunities.
