Sharing access to your funding application

You can give others access to your funding application - this could be a friend, colleague, or support worker. On this page, we detail the steps you need to take to give them access.

If you would like a friend, colleague or support worker to help you by completing part or all of your funding application, please follow these steps:

Step 1

Log into your online account on Creative Scotland’s Funding Portal

If you do not have an online account with us, you will need to create one. You can do so by visiting the Sign Up page of the Portal

Note: If you need support to open an online account, a friend, colleague or access support worker can help you.

Step 2

Select the Funding tab, choose the fund you want to apply to and save your application.

Step 3

If you have selected a fund for individuals, you will be asked if you are making the application as an individual or if you are a sole trader. Choose the option that best describes you.

If you have selected a fund for organisations, you will be asked to provide details about your organisation, followed by contact information for yourself. Choose the options that best describe you and your organisation.

Step 4

Choose the Share Application option to allow someone to access your funding application, then select Add new.

Enter the email address of the person you want to share the application with and choose what type of access you want to give them – you can select Editor Rights or Read Only.

Note: You will be prompted to confirm that by sharing the application with someone with editor access that you will not be able to reverse any of the edits they make.

Once you have submitted the request, your friend, colleague or support worker will receive an email containing a link to your funding application.

Note: Your friend, colleague or support worker will need to have their own Creative Scotland account.

It is important for the funding application to be submitted through the account of the person or organisation applying for the award. If it is not, this may cause a delay in you receiving funding. This is because your funding agreement may contain an incorrect applicant name.
