As detailed in our Complaints Handling Procedure, Creative Scotland does not operate an appeals process for unsuccessful applications.
All Multi-Year Funding applications were assessed in-line with the published fund criteria which reflect our strategic priorities. This was a highly competitive application process, where applicants had to meet the minimum scoring to be considered for funding. A copy of the full assessment will be sent to each unsuccessful applicant, alongside their decision letter.
Unsuccessful applicants are being offered targeted development and transition support, which will be discussed with the individual applicant. Our Enquiries Service can also advise on other sources of funding and support available.
Whilst applicants cannot complain about funding decisions, if they are dissatisfied with the service received from Creative Scotland such as the way we handled the application or how we have made the decision, they can raise this as a formal complaint.
