Is there any likelihood that existing RFO funding/contracts may be extended for a few months rather than creating a new Transition Fund for applicants to access?

No. The current RFO contracts are scheduled to end on 31 March 2025 and in order to focus our resources appropriately during the busy period of contracting, we will not be extending RFO contracts. Extending RFO contracts would not meet the needs of unsuccessful MYF applicants.

Additionally, as not all those that will be unsuccessful and therefore in need of transition support will be RFOs, this would disadvantage those that do not currently have RFO agreements.

Finally, these existing RFO contracts would not be relevant to the activity the organisations would carry out and would be for a very short period of time due to affordability issues.
