Coralie Usmani, Artistic Director and CEO

Coralie Usmani is the Artistic Director and CEO at Jazz Scotland. She works with a small team to produce three flagship jazz festivals across Scotland and, together with Simon Gall, oversees and develops activity in Jazz Scotland’s key strategic areas - artist development, community, and education.

Simon Gall is the Development Director at Jazz Scotland. He works with the board and the CEO to develop and execute strategic plans. Practically, this often involves developing fundraising plans and securing funding, building partnerships and devising new projects, evaluating programmes, and overseeing the expansion of community-focused work.

Jazz Scotland is an award-winning arts organisation which produces three jazz festivals of national importance in locations outside of Scotland's Central Belt (Aberdeen, Dundee, Islay), delivers an educational programme in its festival areas, delivers artist development initiatives, and works ethically with community partners to produce meaningful activity.
