Since 2020, Fiona has produced the Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival. Before that she worked for both the festival and Jazz Scotland who promote the Aberdeen, Dundee and Islay Jazz festivals. She has worked for a multitude of other festivals in film, theatre and general arts and UK-wide concert series in folk, country and classical and of course jazz. As a partner in Direct Music, she worked on publishing a magazine - Jazz Review - as well as producing sponsor events on a world-wide basis. Fiona is also a Director of Festivals Edinburgh, a consortium of the city’s eleven major festivals.

About the Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival

The Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival is Scotland’s flagship jazz and blues event, attracting audiences of 40,000 people with a distinctive, world class programme that appeals to a broad range of the public. In addition to its programme of around 100 concerts over ten days annually in late July, the festival produces the Edinburgh Festival Carnival and has a year-round programme of learning and participation activity.
